What is Dynamic Barre?
An Introduction to the Dynamic Barre Method
Dynamic Barre is a combination of pilates, yoga, and dance elements you would find in ballet choreography, put into one cohesive workout. During class you can expect props to be incorporated, such as the ball, a stretchy resistance band, hand-held weights, or the Pilates Circle. Dynamic Barre includes small micro movements, and large ranges of movement.
All these varying movement patterns when put to fun energizing music, allow for whole body movement, and thus a total body workout. Dynamic Barre is dance cardio intense. You will leave feeling that you not only worked out primary and secondary muscles, you also got a great cardiovascular workout. Dynamic Barre incorporates the Seven Pilates Principles, placing emphasis on proper form and alignment. Dynamic Barre is rooted in the mind body connection and uses pilates and ballet as it’s foundation. This sets it apart from other barre methods.
